Job summary

eDreams ODIGEO is seeking a Lead Engineer to guide a cross‑functional team focused on Front End and AI within our Travel Things product. You will shape capabilities for personalized travel experiences, optimize the funnel, and drive revenue through real‑time decisioning.

Based in Barcelona or Milan with hybrid work, you will partner with product, data science, and UX to deliver high‑impact features, mentor engineers, and raise engineering standards across the organisation.

Qualifications

Experience as Lead Engineer with tech leadership in a B2C or product-led organization.
Hands-on experience applying machine learning or AI to product problems.
Experience integrating ML models into production systems or working with data scientists.
Solid understanding of personalization strategies and their impact on conversion or monetization.
Experience building distributed systems and REST APIs.
A product mindset and focus on measuring outcomes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Track record of driving initiatives with measurable funnel or revenue impact.

Responsibilities

Lead a high-performing team of backend and frontend engineers.
Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to deliver high-impact features.
Drive the adoption of ML models and personalization frameworks into customer-facing features.
Ensure engineering quality through design reviews and testing standards.
Measure and improve team performance and delivery cadence.
Mentor and coach engineers on technical and leadership paths.
Align with other engineering teams for a unified technical strategy.
