CommerceClarity seeks a Founding Head of Engineering to own engineering, architecture, and delivery. You will lead four engineers, define standards, and guide the technical roadmap with the CPTO.

Responsibilities include data architecture for millions of SKUs, multi-language support, and scalable infrastructure. The role requires EU-based mobility, fluent English, and startup-scale impact.

Formación

• Managed engineers directly.
• Ten years building platforms or SaaS with owned architecture.
• Startup experience in early-stage environment.
• Fluent at using LLMs to orchestrate several coding agents.
• Shipped AI agents: prompting, tool use, orchestration, evals.
• Deep data architecture knowledge under real traffic.
• Decisive while working with incomplete information.
• Communicates clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
• Based in the EU and able to travel monthly to Milan/Barcelona.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Own core platform architecture and technology choices.
• Establish engineering standards: quality, review, testing, done criteria.
• Lead and grow the engineering team.
• Define technical roadmap with the CPTO.
• Design data architecture for high-volume catalog work across languages/channels.
• Oversee infrastructure: IaC, CI/CD, monitoring, security, high availability, incident response.
• Define platform capabilities with AI.
