Zyte is seeking a founding engineer for the Browser Stack team, building a custom browser and automation layer that powers the entire fetching stack. You will work on Chromium/V8 internals, stealth patching, and automation-protocol work to keep data flowing and defenses ahead.

This is a high-impact, fast-moving role with global collaboration. You will own the frontier of browser engineering, with opportunities to influence architecture, tooling, and open-source contributions while working from

Formación

• Extensive experience in C++ and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of Web APIs (canvas, audio, WebGL, WebRTC).
• Strong OS concepts and virtualization knowledge.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP and SOCKS protocols.
• Experience with containerisation tools (Docker, containerd, runc, K8s).
• Experience with Rust and production-grade deployments.
• Familiarity with browser fingerprinting and anti-bot techniques.
• Contributions to open-source browser projects are a bonus.

Responsabilidades

• Engineer and harden a custom browser and automation layer for the fetching stack.
• Extend stealth capabilities across engines and mobile profiles.
• Build an automation client to run the browser at scale on tough sites.
• Develop introspection and tracing tooling for rapid ban investigations.
• Strengthen the release pipeline to prevent silent failures during browser updates.
• Improve browser performance to keep pace with headless and cloud platforms.
• Contribute to the team's technical roadmap and open-source efforts.
