Malwarebytes is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for Browser Guard. You will build and ship next-generation security features, integrate across products, and tackle complex design challenges in a scalable, performance-driven environment.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture, and leverage AI-powered tools to boost productivity while ensuring quality and maintainability across the engineering organization. This role offers a highly collaborative team and strong growth opportunities.

Formación

• Proven experience building product-based scalable applications with React, TypeScript and Go.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and software design patterns.
• Experience architecting and scaling products used by millions of users.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows while maintaining high code quality.
• Strong focus on code quality, testing, debugging and maintainability.
• Experience with Git, code reviews and modern software development practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and collaborate across teams.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to solve complex technical challenges independently.

Responsabilidades

• Build and deliver next-generation security features for the Browser Guard engineering team.
• Design and develop integrations across Malwarebytes products and systems.
• Solve complex technical challenges by applying strong knowledge of system design, algorithms and data structures.
• Write clean, scalable, and high-quality code using modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Product, UX, and QA to deliver roadmap initiatives.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
• Drive architecture and technical direction.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity.
