Sofitel Barcelona Skipper ofrece una práctica profesional en el área de Food & Beverage, ubicada frente a la Barceloneta. Buscamos candidatos con interés en hostelería, dispuestos a aprender y a formar parte de un equipo dinámico.

La pasantía es una experiencia integral en el Departamento de Ventas y F&B, con formación interna y opciones de desarrollo profesional internacional tras la práctica.

Formación

• Estar inscrito en una escuela de hostelería o de negocios en España.
• Tener derecho legal para realizar prácticas desde la fecha de inicio.
• Capacidad de relacionarse y comunicar eficazmente.
• Motivado, entusiasta y orientado a los detalles.
• Dominio de español e inglés; el francés es un plus.
• Disposición para al menos 6 meses, 5 días/semana, 40 h/semana.

Responsabilidades

• Brindar un excelente servicio de sala para garantizar la satisfacción.
• Aprender a tomar pedidos y entregar comida y bebidas.
• Usar el sistema POS y registrar pedidos correctamente.
• Informar y recomendar contenidos del menú a los clientes.
• Seguir estándares y procedimientos para realizar las tareas a tiempo.
• Comunicar entre colegas y con los clientes para un flujo de información claro.
• Desempeñar todas las funciones del departamento de F&B.

Descripción del empleo

• Providing excellent wait service to guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Learn to take customer orders and delivering food and beverages.
• Learn using the POS system diligently, entering orders and making corrections if necessary.
• Learning food and beverage content to make menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons.
• Carry out set standards and procedures to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are carried out in a timely manner.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and guests alike in order to secure a smooth and accurate transition of information.
• Carry out all roles and functions of the F&B department.

Requisitos

• Eligibility (Spain): Candidates must have the legal right to undertake an internship in Spain from the start date. No visa/work permit sponsorship available.
• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality School or a Business School.
• Strong social and communication skills to build valued relationships.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• Eager to learn (no prior specialization required).
• Available for at least 6 months, 5 days/week, 40 hours/week.
