UST seeks a Software Engineer to join a strategic banking project based in Madrid, Spain. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Flowable-based workflow and case management solutions, and implementing BPMN/CMMN models for enterprise applications.

You will develop backend components in Java/Spring Boot, build REST APIs and event-driven integrations, and collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts and Architecture teams in an Agile environment.

Formación

• 6+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with Flowable or other BPM platforms (Camunda, Appian, IBM BAW, Pega).
• Advanced knowledge of BPMN and CMMN standards.
• Experience with REST APIs, integration patterns and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Oracle Database and advanced SQL development.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Octopus Deploy or similar tools.
• Experience with Linux-based enterprise environments.
• English at least C1 level.

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer with experience with Flowable or other BPM to join a strategic banking project based in Madrid, Spain.

Required to go to the client's offices in central Madrid 3 days a week.

High english level is required.

Key Responsibilities

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in enterprise software development environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Flowable or other BPM platforms such as Camunda, Appian, IBM BAW or Pega.
• Advanced knowledge of BPMN and CMMN standards.
• Experience with REST APIs, integration patterns and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Oracle Database and advanced SQL development.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Octopus Deploy or similar tools.
• Experience with Linux-based enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments.
• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
• English C1

Nice To Have

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Agile, SAFe, DevOps, or similar certifications.
• Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Spanish language skills.
• Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
