Siemens Mobility, S.L.U. in Madrid is seeking a mid‑level C++ Software Engineer for Critical Railway Systems to develop secure software for safety‑critical control systems. You will contribute to the stability, reliability, and safety of global rail networks.

The role requires strong C++ expertise, OO design, and collaboration with international teams. You will participate in the full software lifecycle, work in an Agile environment, and explore AI‑driven testing and automation to improve

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, CS, telecom, or related field.
Strong experience with C++ in demanding technical environments.
Solid foundation in OO programming, software architecture, and robust design.
Fluency in English and Spanish to collaborate with global teams.
Collaborative mindset and motivation to develop socially impactful software.
Familiarity with railway signaling standards and requirements management tools.

Responsabilidades

Develop and evolve C++ software components for SIL4 safety‑critical systems.
Drive the complete software lifecycle from specification to customer support.
Explore AI‑based solutions to automate tasks, testing, and engineering capabilities.
Collaborate with international, multidisciplinary teams on high‑impact projects.
Progressively take on facilitation within the Agile team to remove impediments.
