GMV Madrid is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for Railway Systems to join our Software Engineering team within the Intelligent Transport Systems sector. You will design, develop and integrate embedded applications in C/C++ for onboard railway systems running Linux, contributing to passenger information, PA, CCTV and communication subsystems.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Interest or experience developing embedded software for transport systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Linux, object-oriented programming, TCP/IP and Git; able to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Embedded software design, implementation and maintenance for railway systems in C/C++.
• Integrate railway ITS solutions such as PIS, PA, CCTV and embedded communications.
• Develop components for communications between embedded devices and ground systems.
• Contribute to HMIs, configuration tools and diagnostic utilities.
• Analyse performance, memory usage, stability and fault tolerance.
• Perform testing, validation and integration in lab and customer environments.
• Produce technical documentation covering design, integration and maintenance.
• Provide technical support during integration, validation and commissioning.
