GMV is seeking a Firmware and Real Time systems engineer in Tres Cantos, Madrid. The role includes participating in all project phases within a dynamic team focused on developing innovative electronic systems for the defense sector. Key qualifications include programming expertise in C/C++ and/or Python, experience in Linux environments, and familiarity with communication protocols and microprocessors. Overview

We are looking to incorporate a Firmware and Real Time systems engineer to join a highly qualified team dedicated to the development of innovative electronic systems in the defense sector. What challenges will you be taking on?

The selected candidate will participate in all phases of the project, from customer requirements capture and analysis to final system validation and certification. You will be part of a collaborative and dynamic environment, facing high-level technical challenges and actively contributing to every stage of the system design and development process.

The objective of this position is to strengthen the development team in order to address new strategic technological projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with the highest quality and reliability standards.

What do we need in our team?

Required Qualifications

• Programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience with low-level buses and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, RS232, etc.).
• Experience with 16/32-bit microprocessors.

Nice to Have

• Experience in real-time application development.
• Programming experience in C#.
• Android application development experience.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (Gateways, port forwarding, etc.).
• Knowledge of VHDL/Verilog.
• Familiarity with MPLAB Harmony
