Job summary

KBR supports U.S. armed forces operations in Europe, including at Morón Air Base in Spain.

The Chief of Fire Emergency Services will plan, develop and implement department policy, direct operations, manage budgets and oversee emergency response planning for fire protection across the installation. The role requires extensive experience in firefighting, incident command, and compliance with DoD standards, with a focus on aircraft and structural fire rescue, hazardous materials, and EMS response

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain US Secret Clearance.
• Associate degree or higher in Fire Technology.
• 5+ years as Fire Chief or Deputy Chief.
• 15+ years ARFF/Structural, Haz-mat, medical emergencies and confined space rescue firefighting experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the Fire Protection Flight activities.
• Direct firefighting operations including aircraft and structural fires.
• Manage budgets and equipment acquisitions for fire protection.
• Coordinate with installation and functional area organizations.
• Ensure health, safety and PPE compliance.
• Maintain compliance with training and certifications.
