Job summary

Satispay is hiring a Legal Counsel to steer regulatory, contractual, and product-related matters in payments and consumer credit. You will advise on PSD2, AML/KYC, and e-money while collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure compliance and manage risk.

Based in Luxembourg, the role requires strategic thinking, deep fintech knowledge, and strong English; Italian or French is a plus. Relocation support is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with substantial PQE in fintech or payments.
• Deep knowledge of PSD2, AML/KYC, EMRs, CCD2 regulations.
• Strong analytical mindset with risk-based decision making.
• Understanding of technology, product development, and commercial considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level legal guidance on payments, e-money, and consumer credit.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and contractual matters across products.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and risk teams to design compliant solutions.
• Identify regulatory risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
