RHI Magnesita N.V. is seeking a Financial Reporting Professional for Oviedo, Spain, to manage all financial reporting for Spain and Italy within a hybrid, full-time role.

You will ensure accurate statutory reporting, collaborate with the shared services center, and liaise with auditors and external parties to maintain robust internal controls. The role requires a Finance/Accounting degree or equivalent experience, fluency in Spanish and English, and strong SAP/MS Excel skills.

Your position

As a Financial Reporting Professional, you will oversee all financial aspects of the RHI Magnesita entities in Spain and Italy. Your area of responsibility will include overall control of all financial transactions and accounting matters, making sure legal entity reporting is done accurately and in compliance with local statutory requirements and group accounting guidelines (IAS/IFRS). In this role, you will also ensure the flow of accurate financial information to the Head of Regional Finance and act as the intermediary between the shared service center, the corporate and group functions, and external parties. Moreover, you will be supporting various internal finance projects.

Your profile

• Open-minded & communicative team player with a flexible and deadline-driven approach and the ability to work independently
• A degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• A few years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, ideally in an industrial sector
• Solid knowledge in accounting (e.g. IAS/IFRS)
• Strong proficiency in SAP and MS Excel

Languages: Spanish – fluent; English – fluent; Italian will be considered an asset.

Nice to have: Chartered Accountant certification, HFM (Hyperion Financial management) knowledge
