Job summary

Shimano Iberia is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a four-person team and ensure robust financial health and compliance. The role covers general ledger, close, reporting, tax, treasury, and controls while partnering with the local Management Team on strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines IFRS/GAAP expertise with SAP 4 HANA experience, strong leadership, and the ability to drive process improvements in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/RA/ROAC or equivalent) is an advantage.
• 3–5+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership exposure.
• Experience with IFRS, GAAP, tax compliance and internal controls.
• ERP experience with SAP 4 HANA and modern reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations including GL, month/year-end close and statutory reporting.
• Oversee tax compliance, treasury, AP/AR and cash management.
• Maintain strong internal controls and risk mitigation.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for leadership.
• Manage external auditors, banks, tax advisors and regulators.
• Coach and develop the finance team; drive process optimization and digitalization.
• Collaborate on regional/European finance projects and cross-functional initiatives.
