ORBIDI is seeking a Head of Accounting to oversee and streamline accounting operations, manage audits and tax filings, and lead a small team across Spain and Colombia. You will drive strategic initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced tech and marketing environment.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, ERP proficiency, and proven leadership. You will collaborate with IT and tax advisors, optimize monthly close, manage cash flow, and prepare transfer pricing documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee accounting operations for the group, including holding and subsidiaries in Spain and Colombia.
• Lead and manage day-to-day finance functions (AR, Revenue, AP, GL, reconciliation) ensuring compliance.
• Streamline the monthly close and improve reconciliation procedures across entities.
• Ensure timely filing of corporate tax returns and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with tax advisors and regulatory bodies on compliance matters.
• Resolve operational challenges with IT and other stakeholders.
• Drive finance initiatives, including requirements, UAT, workflows, and post-implementation monitoring.
• Oversee annual transfer pricing report with external advisors.
• Manage cash flow and ensure effective cash management practices.
• Provide strategic advisory services to internal stakeholders.
• Manage an accounting team of 2 people.
• Coordinate with other teams to optimize solutions for the company and customers.
• Prepare documentation for external audits and respond to inquiries.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests and urgent issues.
