Job summary

Wedia Group in Marbella, Spain seeks a Finance Executive with 1-2 years of accounting experience to manage core accounting transactions and support financial reporting. The role involves debtors/creditors reconciliation, payment runs, and KPI analysis to aid operations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or in the process of completing ACCA/ ACA qualification, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Excel considered an asset.
• Experience with Navision/Dynamics 365 Business Central an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process all accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Conduct reconciliations (debtors, creditors, banks) and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and execute payment runs.
• Extract and analyze revenue and KPI figures to support operations.
• Assist in preparation of management accounts and cash flow forecasting.
• Assist in tax returns and liaise with external auditors/tax authorities.
• Maintain accounting software and related tools.

Finance executive

• Managing and processing all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Conducting debtor, creditor, bank & other reconciliations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Handling of payment run preparation & execution
• Be responsible for the extraction and analysis of revenue & KPI figures supporting the operations
• Assisting in the preparation of Wedia’s management accounts
• Assisting in cash flow management and forecasting.
• Assisting in the preparation of relevant tax returns.
• Communicating and working with external auditors and tax authorities, as required.
• Managing and maintaining accounting software and other tools.

You'll need
