SGS is seeking a Finance BI Scrum Master to drive Agile delivery within the Finance Data Delivery team, bridging business needs and BI solutions. You will facilitate ceremonies, coordinate cross-functional work, and support backlog refinement while maintaining governance and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on collaborating with Finance, Data, and BI squads, leveraging Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder communication and travel readiness.

Formación

• Degree in CS or related field.
• Proven Agile experience as Scrum Master or similar.
• Experience with Finance stakeholders and ERP/EPM.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as required.

The Finance BI Scrum Master is a key member of the Finance Data Delivery team, responsible for enabling efficient Agile delivery and ensuring the successful end-to-end execution of Finance Data & BI solutions. The role focuses on team facilitation, delivery governance, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement, acting as a bridge between business and technical teams.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives), ensuring adherence to Scrum principles
• Coordinate delivery activities across Finance, Data, and BI teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities
• Support the Product Owner with backlog definition, refinement, and prioritization based on business value
• Track delivery progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, KPIs) and ensure transparency
• Identify, manage, and remove impediments affecting delivery
• Coordinate dependencies across data platforms, BI tools, and upstream systems (ERP/EPM)
• Ensure alignment with SGS data governance standards and best practices
• Drive continuous improvement and promote Agile ways of working
• Facilitate effective communication between business and technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• Degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience in Agile environments as a Scrum Master, Agile Lead, or similar role
• Experience working with Finance stakeholders and financial data domains (ERP, EPM)
• Strong focus on user and stakeholder experience
• Excellent communication skills, including interaction with senior stakeholders
• Willingness to travel as required

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 4+ years of experience in Scrum Master / Agile delivery roles within Data or BI environments
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable backlog items and delivery plans
• Solid understanding of financial data, processes, and reporting requirements
• Experience with data and BI ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, DBT, Azure Data Factory, Power BI)
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)
• Strong organizational and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and proactively resolve issues
• Strong collaboration skills across all organizational levels
• Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory); Spanish is a plus
