Job Description

As part of our Global Technology Office (GTO), you will play a key role in shaping and implementing our global data governance strategy. We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to drive the development and execution of data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, accountability, and consistency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders — including business units, regional teams, process owners (labs and field services), corporate functions, and the data privacy office — to identify data owners and establish clear accountability.
3. Define and document data governance policies and data quality rules, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
4. Lead the implementation of a Data Governance and Data Quality platform to support governance frameworks and tools.
5. Monitor and report on data governance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
6. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data governance and data management.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
2. Experience: 5+ years in data governance, data management, or a related role, ideally in the testing, certification, or inspection industry.
3. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, or Microsoft Purview.
4. Leadership: Proven success in building and guiding high-performing teams.
5. Certifications: CDMP, CISSP, or similar data governance/management certifications are a plus.
6. Tools Knowledge: Familiarity with data quality monitoring tools.

Skills:

1. Languages: Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
2. Project Management: Ability to lead and deliver data-related initiatives on time and within scope.
3. Collaboration: Skilled at working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
4. Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable steps.
5. Communication: Excellent ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner, both verbally and in writing.
