MBDA España is seeking a Field Support Engineer to join the CSS TA area in Madrid. The role covers testing, back-office support, and maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness and high customer satisfaction.

The candidate will liaise with the Head of CSS and provide on-site and back-office support, with responsibilities including reporting, training in Spanish or English, and project-based CSS assistance. Travel within Spain and Europe is required.

Formación

• Experience providing field support in technical engineering environments.
• Strong communication with customers and partners.
• Fluent in English; Spanish fluency preferred for local work.

The opportunity:

MBDA España is looking for a Field Support Engineer to join the Customer Support and Services Technical Assistance (CSS TA) area, who are responsible for the execution of all the technical maintenance tasks to ensure systems and ammunition operational readiness, while maximising customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do:

• You will be accountable for all the testing, back-office technical support, technical support to firing exercises, technical CSS maintenance activities and for the production of all the necessary test results/technical studies/technical analysis reports.
• Customer Support and Services Technical Assistant (Field Support Engineer) will report to the Head of CSS and will be the technical interface with the customer at maintenance level, while the Head of CSS will be the main point of contact and interface with the customer at management level.
• The CSS TA will provide both in-site and back-office support.
• You will comply with all the Quality and Configuration requirements, and will write / complete all documents in the English language unless the contrary is indicated. Reporting will be a key part of this role.
• You will provide CSS technical support within projects when needed, under the direction of the Head of CSS and/or the CSS Project Manager.
• You will provide the necessary Training Courses to the customer, in Spanish or in English if required.

What we're looking for from you:

• Previous field support experience within a technical engineering environment,
• Communication: reporting and co-operation with internal and external partners. Ability to understand and work with customers and build strong relationships
• Strong command and understanding of the English language to be able to work with technical documents and converse professionally to deliver training to customers which you should have experienced previously.
