Job summary

Thermal Works LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team, focusing on startup/commissioning and service for Thermal Works equipment. The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, English and Spanish fluency, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Key travel is 75% within Spain, with training at our U.S. headquarters. You will service chillers and CRAH units, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate across departments to improve products and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Technical or Vocational Degree/Certification in HVAC or related field.
• F-Gas Category I Certification required for handling fluorinated gases.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in mechanical systems for critical infrastructure.
• Experience with chillers and CRAH units (installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with EU safety standards, PED, EN 378 refrigeration safety norms.
• Diagnostics, repairs, and optimizations in live environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive training program at Thermal Works' U.S. headquarters.
• Manage Preventive Maintenance and service schedules.
• Perform on-site quality control for installation of Thermal Works products.
• Perform all preventive maintenance and service needs for clients.
• Be available to handle emergency issues when on call.
• Monitor service software closely to ensure services are met on schedule.
• Collaborate with different departments for product development and improvement.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and repair of Thermal Works equipment.
• 75% travel requirement within Spain.
