Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Iberia Service Team. You will install, commission, maintain and repair Emerson instruments across Spain, Portugal and nearby sites, traveling up to 75%.

You will diagnose issues, calibrate instruments, train customers, and support sales with applications knowledge. The ideal candidate holds a engineering degree, at least two years of Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience, fluent Spanish and English, and a valid B class license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with field instruments and process measurement technologies.
• Fluent in Spanish and English—written and spoken.
• Valid B-class driving license and willingness to travel (up to 75%).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Install/commission, fault analysis, and repairs on Emerson instruments.
• Provide diagnostics, troubleshooting, calibration, start-up and commissioning services.
• Deliver on-site training and technical support for customers.
• Support Sales Engineers with product demonstrations and applications guidance.
• Maintain timely, accurate reporting of service activities and uphold safety standards.
