Marel Spain & Portugal S.L. in Barcelona seeks a hands-on electrical/mechanical service engineer to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnostics at customer sites across Spain and Portugal.

You will provide technical support, train customers, and help improve service procedures while traveling with a company car; fluency in Spanish and English is essential, Portuguese an advantage.

Formación

• Electrical/Mechanical engineering background with hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Customer-first mindset with commitment to service excellence.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, field-based role while staying connected to the Service team.
• Experience with Salesforce, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to share knowledge and best practices.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and fault diagnostics at customer sites across Spain and Portugal.
• Provide accurate, detailed, and timely service visit reports following all on-site activities.
• Deliver electrical / mechanical-focused technical support and advise on maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades.
• Identify recurring issues and proactively share insights with the manager and Service team.
• Train customers on machine operation, maintenance routines, safety standards, and cleaning procedures.
• Support creation and improvement of Service Department procedures.
• Respond to technical questions from customers, technicians, and the sales team.
• Identify potential sales opportunities and support Sales with technical expertise.
