Job summary

Soho House Barcelona is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our private club, supporting repairs, routine maintenance, and room setups for events. You will work closely with housekeeping and operations to ensure a pristine, safe environment for members and guests.

We value reliability, a friendly attitude, and a willingness to contribute across departments in a fast-paced venue. The role is full-time and based on site in Barcelona.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy high-profile venue (up to 2 years).
• Basic experience in general maintenance and handyman work.
• Comfortable using tools and carrying out physical tasks.
• Flexible and willing to support different departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Support planned maintenance and reactive work orders as directed.
• Inspect equipment and building systems to identify issues early.
• Assist with room and facility setups for meetings and events.
• Keep tools, spaces, and plant rooms clean and safe.
• Monitor stock of maintenance supplies and report shortages.
• Respond quickly to urgent repair requests.
• Work with housekeeping and operations to maintain the environment.
• Follow health and safety policies and safe working practices.
