Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Spain seeks an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a luxury team and ensure superior guest service. You will oversee daily operations, maintain high standards, and collaborate with other departments to deliver exemplary experiences for our guests.

Fluency in Spanish and English, strong communication, and knowledge of OPERA or similar PMS are essential. Prior supervisory experience in luxury hotels and flexibility to work rotating shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Certificate of Professional Competence in Basic Floor and Accommodation Operations (HOTA 0108) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years total experience in a luxury hotels enviroment.
• Direct supervisory experience over a Housekeeping team, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Knowledge and experience in the laundry/linen department would be an advantage.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strong focus on luxury and ultra-luxury customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Experience with OPERA/OPERA Cloud + HUB or similar operating systems would be an advantage.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, Monday to Sunday, excluding days off

• 3+ years total experience in a luxury hotels enviroment
• Direct supervisory experience over a Housekeeping team, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Must speak local language- Spanish and English in a high level is a MUST
• Position may have additional qualifications per brand standard
• Knowledge and experience in the laundry/linen department would be an advantage.
• Leadership and team management skills.
