Job summary

Tsmg is seeking experienced Vehicle Test Drivers to support testing of new electric vehicles (EVs) in the region before market launch. You'll drive prototypes, visit EV charging stations, and test charging availability and app functionality while collaborating with a client-side engineer.

Travel is required, including cross-border periods, and you must maintain safety and careful handling of prototype vehicles throughout the project.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license required.
Strong driving experience and clean driving record (MVR).
Clear criminal background check.
Experience in automotive testing or data collection is preferred.
Experience with Electric Vehicles (EVs) is strongly preferred.
Willingness to travel extensively and be away from home for durations.
Comfortable working with engineers and following testing procedures.

Responsibilities

Drive prototype EVs on predefined routes within the assigned region.
Visit selected EV charging stations and test availability.
Connect the vehicle to charging stations and verify charging processes.
Record and report any issues or unexpected behavior.
Follow predefined testing procedures and routes.
Collaborate with a client-side engineer during testing.
Travel as required, including cross-border travel when applicable.
Maintain high safety and attention to detail while operating prototype vehicles.
