Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to support offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor turbines, analyze faults, and coordinate remote diagnostics and field support to maintain reliable performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering teams, data-driven improvement, and support for grid outages while maintaining safety and compliance. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical system experience in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot in the field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Contribute to reporting and communication of findings.
• Support process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Assist with grid outage support, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekend/public holiday coverage.
