Job summary

Sony Europe is seeking an experienced Live Events Manager to lead end-to-end planning and delivery of European trade shows, conferences and product launches within a fast-paced B2B environment.

You will own budgets, coordinate venues and suppliers, and manage AV/technical production from briefing to on-site delivery while maintaining brand standards and stakeholder expectations across multiple European markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in event management across Europe in a technology/B2B context.
• Excellent knowledge of AV and technical production for live events.
• Experience managing budgets up to six figures and tracking spend.
• Experience briefing, negotiating with and managing creative agencies and production suppliers.
• Proven ability to produce post-event ROI reports for senior audiences.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Europe.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of European trade shows, conferences and product launches, managing plans, timelines, budgets and stakeholder requirements.
• Coordinate venues, contractors, show organisers and internal teams, ensuring builds, live delivery and breakdown meet brand standards.
• Lead AV and technical production from briefing to on-site delivery with stand builders and technical crews.
• Review drawings, schedules and rigging plans; manage Sony B2B Events inventory and ensure safe, compliant delivery.
• Own event budgets, reporting, and processing of POs and invoices on time.
• Source, negotiate and manage agencies, suppliers and production partners for best value without compromising quality.
• Build relationships with marketing, sales, product and leadership, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
