Job summary

AJ Group in Europe seeks a Director of Construction to own multi-site data centre build programs across Europe. You will lead end-to-end delivery from breaking ground through handover, overseeing MMC strategies and multi-site management.

We require 15+ years in large-scale infrastructure, GC or developer background, and a proven European project track record. This role offers executive ownership, a 40% bonus, and regular travel across Europe.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience leading large-scale critical infrastructure construction programmes.
Must have built career within a GC or data centre developer/operator.
Experience delivering multi-million Euro projects across Europe.
Familiarity with high-density M&E systems and modular build methods.
Strong contract administration, risk management, and supply chain acceleration.

Responsibilities

Direct end-to-end site delivery for a growing European data centre pipeline.
Lead procurement and management of tier-1 GCs, EPCs, and sub-contractors across Europe.
Drive MMC strategies using off-site manufacturing and modular M&E systems.
Oversee capital budgets, schedules, safety, quality, and disputes on major contracts.
Collaborate with Site Acquisition, utilities, M&E design, and C-suite leaders.
Build and mentor high-performing on-site teams across Europe.
