Avenga is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and govern SAP S/4HANA-based enterprise solutions for a global healthcare/pharma environment. You will ensure compliance with GxP, CSV, and GDPR while guiding stakeholders and delivery teams across business and IT. The role requires in-office presence in Madrid twice a week.

Applicants should have 7+ years in senior technical leadership, strong SAP expertise, and fluency in business English to collaborate with multinational teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field with solid enterprise design experience.
• 7+ years as Solution Architect or senior tech lead with SAP S/4HANA expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management processes.

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a global organization operating in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. You will be part of the ERP & Business Solutions area, contributing to the development and evolution of enterprise-scale digital solutions across a global environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle, architecture, technical design, and compliance of critical systems within an SAP S/4HANA landscape. You will work at the intersection of business needs, technology, and regulatory requirements, helping to ensure that solutions are scalable, sustainable, secure, and fit for purpose.

This is you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field, combined with solid experience designing business-driven solutions in complex enterprise environments.

• 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar senior technical/leadership role, with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA.

• Strong knowledge of Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management processes.

• Previous experience in highly regulated environments, particularly Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or Biotech, is highly desirable. Knowledge of GxP, CSV, and GDPR is a strong advantage.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and IT teams and work in multicultural environments.

• Good knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies, as well as tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

• Experience with enterprise integration and middleware patterns and complex SAP landscapes.

• Fluent business English.

• Candidates must be located in Madrid, as this position requires in-office attendance twice a week.

This is your role

• Design maintainable and scalable solutions within a complex SAP S/4HANA enterprise environment.

• Define robust data structures and integration solutions in collaboration with development teams.

• Assess business requirements from a technical perspective and recommend sustainable, long-term solutions.

• Ensure architectural decisions minimize technical debt and support future business growth.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers and consultants.

• Participate in design reviews and promote clean-code and engineering best practices.

• Encourage technical ownership and support the delivery of reliable, high-quality solutions within an agile environment.

• Work closely with business stakeholders, Value Stream Leads, and Product Owners.

• Translate business requirements related to Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management into effective SAP S/4HANA solutions.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor, balancing business priorities with architectural considerations.

• Design and maintain well-governed data solutions within a highly regulated healthcare/pharmaceutical environment.

• Consider regulatory and compliance requirements throughout the solution lifecycle, including GxP, GDPR, FDA, EMA, and Computer System Validation (CSV).

• Ensure solutions meet high standards of data security, quality, and audit readiness.

• Contribute to the long-term technology strategy and roadmap for the relevant business domains.

• Evaluate new technologies, integration frameworks, and SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

• Ensure that the architecture remains scalable, sustainable, and aligned with evolving business and regulatory requirements.
