Job summary

Alpega is seeking a Business Applications / Finance Systems specialist in Barcelona to support NetSuite administration and BillingPlatform configurations. You will collaborate with finance and IT, driving improvements and integrations while growing into fuller ownership.

In this hybrid role, you will build an automation-first habit, use AI tools to speed up analysis, and engage stakeholders across finance and business teams. An excellent growth opportunity in a leading transport software company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on NetSuite administration and configuration or strong learning attitude.
• Exposure to finance or billing systems and their integrations.
• Experience contributing to system or process improvement projects.
• Willingness to take increasing ownership of a business-systems area over time.
• Proactive working style with interest in AI and automation tools.
• Good communication skills with finance, business and technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide NetSuite administration and configuration support in day-to-day operations.
• Support BillingPlatform configuration, billing logic, and first-line issue resolution.
• Monitor health of the billing and business-app landscape and flag issues early.
• Contribute to regulatory and compliance projects such as EU invoicing adaptations.
• Assist in integrations between core systems and add-ons and keep documentation updated.
• Promote automation-first initiatives to simplify and speed up workflows.
• Provide clear updates to finance and business stakeholders on progress.
