Skydance Animation Madrid is seeking a motivated Environment Surfacing trainee for an on-site internship. You will apply textures to 3D models, create procedural textures, and develop shaders while learning the studio’s pipeline and look.

This paid internship offers valuable networking opportunities and real-world experience in a collaborative animation setting. Ideal candidates are in their final year of study, proficient in Substance Painter/Designer, Maya or Houdini, and have a strong English

Formación

• Must be enrolled in your final year of an accredited program (Associate, Bachelor, or Master).
• Strong knowledge of Substance Painter/Designer and texture workflows.
• Experience with Maya and/or Houdini.
• Basic UV mapping understanding and shading in Arnold/Renderman.

Responsabilidades

• Apply textures and materials to 3D models using Substance Painter.
• Paint stylized textures from concepts.
• Create procedural textures with Substance Designer.
• Maintain visual consistency and fit within pipeline requirements.
• Create/modify shaders for main render engines.
