Job summary

IBM is seeking a Power Systems Manufacturing Engineer in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, to join the Supply Chain Engineering team. You will support the contract manufacturing supplier to ensure production processes meet IBM standards and help introduce New Products while implementing EC changes at the supplier line.

You will collaborate with Development, supplier Engineering/Manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to monitor quality, drive corrective actions, and support GA and production orders

Qualifications

• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Industrial).
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Develop New Products and ensure manufacturing support for GA and production.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure Engineering Changes (EC's) are released and implemented at the supplier.
• Manage product/process BOM structures and ensure proper implementation at the supplier.
• Provide production support for supplier Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
• Ensure production and non-production orders are released correctly in IBM systems.
• Provide process oversight to ensure technical requirements are met by the supplier.
• Facilitate issue resolution between contract manufacturing supplier and IBM through end-to-end analysis.
