PowerCo SE in Valencia invites an IT Production Applications Specialist to support quality control software and processes. You will ensure integration of Teamcenter, CAQ and LIMS with shopfloor devices, and contribute to continuous improvement in manufacturing quality.

The role requires 1–2 years in IT production applications, familiarity with MES/SCADA, knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949, and fluency in English. German is a plus. A bachelor’s degree is expected.

IT Production Applications Specialist - Quality

PowerCo's new cell manufacturing facility in Valencia offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy. You will provide IT support for production applications within the Quality department, ensuring efficient implementation and usage of quality‑related applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in the preparation and set‑up of IT applications for quality control processes, such as Siemens Teamcenter, CAQ, LIMS, ensuring that systems meet PowerCo Spain requirements and are fully integrated with other applications and shopfloor machines/devices.
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of systems, ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing processes, collaborating closely with the local IT department and HQ as well as related areas.
• Help with the roll‑out of IT applications, supporting implementation and upgrades of assigned applications while proactively integrating and proposing the latest technologies and solutions.
• Support a proactive quality culture with best practices, preparing and improving documentation, reporting, and related activities.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in IT production applications or related roles (internships or academic projects also considered), focusing on development, rollout of systems, and supplier quality assurance.
• Experience with quality tools (FMEA, problem solving, defect catalog) and quality shopfloor devices and testbenches.
• Knowledge of quality standards and external regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Technical knowledge of shopfloor, MES, SCADA, and other related technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to integrating new technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• English is a must; German is desirable.
