FMG in Granada is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead all technical, engineering, maintenance, and infrastructure activities at our plant in Granada. You will oversee maintenance strategies, CAPEX projects, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safety and ESG compliance.

The role requires leadership of large technical teams in a manufacturing setting, with strong collaboration across cross-functional groups to deliver high plant performance and reliability.

Formación

• Fluent English and Spanish are essential.
• Proven experience in a Technical/Engineering Manager role in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with safety, regulatory compliance and ESG considerations.
• Solid knowledge of maintenance management systems, CAPEX, TPM and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and optimize technical operations, maintenance, utilities and engineering teams.
• Ensure equipment reliability, maximum plant availability and reduced downtime.
• Develop preventive/predictive maintenance, asset management and shutdown planning.
• Lead CAPEX projects, modernization, automation and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, safety and ESG requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement via TPM, Lean Maintenance, RCA and Reliability Engineering.
• Collaborate across Production, Supply Chain, Quality, HSE, Finance and R&D.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimize technical operations, maintenance, utilities, and engineering teams.
• Ensure equipment reliability, maximum plant availability, and reduced downtime and maintenance costs.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, asset management, and shutdown planning.
• Lead CAPEX projects, modernization, automation, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, technical standards, safety, and ESG requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through TPM, Lean Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, and Reliability Engineering.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, HSE, Finance, and R&D.
• Lead, motivate, and develop technical teams, fostering accountability and high performance.

Requirements:

• Fluent English and Spanish are essential.
• Proven experience in a Technical Manager, Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, or similar technical leadership role.
• Strong background in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Solid knowledge of maintenance management systems, CAPEX projects, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven leadership experience managing large technical teams, preferably in unionized or blue-collar environments.
• Experience in safety-critical or highly regulated production environments is a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and sound decision‑making abilities.
