Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse in Albacete, Spain. The role focuses on health surveillance, fitness-for-work assessments, and promoting healthy habits within the workforce.

The successful candidate will hold a Nursing Degree with specialization in Occupational Health, have at least B2 English, and be prepared to collaborate with HR and management. Office software proficiency is desirable, and the position is permanent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in emergency planning and first aid where needed.

• Attend case review meetings as required.
• Provide pre-employment health assessment and rehabilitation support.
• Administer vaccinations subject to regulations.

An opportunity for an OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Albacete.

Occupational health professionals hold specific formal qualifications directly related to their specialization and are recognized for their expertise both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

The jobholder will be responsible for:

• Conduct health surveillance and participate in fitness-for-work assessments in accordance with department protocols.
• Leverage assessments to discuss and promote healthy lifestyle habits.
• Participate and collaborate in health promotion activities and initiatives as required.
• Ensure employees are informed about health risks and prevention methods.
• Identify specific risks or homogeneous exposure groups through assessments, gather the necessary information, and refer it to the appropriate support service.
• Depending on the location, collaborate in emergency planning and the provision of first aid.
• Propose fitness-for-work recommendations to the Occupational Health Physician based on risk and health status, advising on reasonable accommodations to keep the employee in their position or facilitate their return to work following medical leave (due to illness or accident).
• Liaise with HR and Management to provide advice and support.
• Attend case review meetings and committees as required by the role.
• Provide advice and support during pre-employment health assessments and rehabilitation processes.
• Administer vaccinations (subject to local/national regulations).
