Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Illescas is seeking an Occupational Health Physician to join our Health & Safety team in Spain. You will hold a Medical Degree with a specialization in Occupational Medicine and contribute to medical surveillance, fitness-for-work assessments, and collaboration with specialists to protect employee health.

This role requires at least English B2 level and office software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: Medical Degree with a specialization in Occupational Medicine.
• Languages: Minimum B2 level in English.
• Desirable: Proficiency in office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, advice, and support to employers and employees.
• Identify, assess, and refer vulnerable individuals or groups to the appropriate specialists and lead projects with said specialists.
• Conduct medical surveillance and ensure data traceability to prevent occupational diseases.
• Issue fitness-for-work recommendations based on job profile and health status.
• Collaborate in organizing emergency and first aid services.
• Support health promotion activities in the workplace.

Job description

An opportunity for an Occupational Health Physician has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Illescas. Occupational Health Physicians hold specific formal qualifications directly related to their specialization and are recognized for their expertise both internally and externally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide guidance, advice, and support to employers and employees.
• Identify, assess, and refer vulnerable individuals or groups to the appropriate specialists when deemed necessary, as well as propose, lead, or participate in actions/projects in collaboration and consultation with said specialists.
• Conduct appropriate medical surveillance and ensure data traceability based on the job profile and risk exposure, in order to prevent occupational diseases and facilitate job retention.
• Issue fitness-for-work recommendations based on the job profile and the employee's health status.
• Collaborate in the organization and/or provision of emergency and first aid services.
• Support company-driven health promotion activities in the workplace.

SKILLS
