Veolia's Engineering & Consulting arm in Madrid seeks a Senior Consultant to join the Power Grid & BESS / Energy Systems team. You will develop techno-economic analyses, support BESS deployment, and advise on renewable integration across Europe.
You bring MSc/MEng in electrical engineering and 5–10 years in energy sector consulting, plus expertise in DIgSILENT, PSS/E, SDDP or Plexos, and strong English/Spanish communication.
Formación
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5–10 years in energy sector consulting with European experience.
- Strong modelling in BESS and renewable integration.
- Familiar with European energy markets and frameworks.
- Experience with techno-economic modelling and dispatch optimisation.
- Proficient in DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, SDDP or Plexos.
Responsabilidades
- Conduct techno-economic analyses for BESS and renewables.
- Support BESS implementation from tech specs to commissioning.
- Carry out power system planning and expansion studies.
- Prepare technical and economic content for proposals.
- Evaluate grid integration challenges and regulatory aspects.
- Engage in market assessments and capacity-building for clients.
- Travel as needed to serve European and international markets.
