Elastic is seeking a Senior Security Research Engineer to lead defensive innovations for Elastic Defend. You will transform attacker techniques into shipped protections, extend endpoint visibility, and write production C/C++ code for millions of endpoints.

Formación

• 5+ years of security research and threat detection experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python for security-critical code.
• Strong OS internals knowledge across Windows/macOS/Linux.
• Experience in reverse engineering and malware analysis.
• Ability to design resilient protections against evasion.

Responsabilidades

• Research attacker techniques and turn them into protections.
• Extend endpoint visibility across Windows, macOS, Linux.
• Develop production code in C/C++ for millions of endpoints.
• Reverse engineer malware and study evasion methods.
• Own efficacy from telemetry review to mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate across Elastic Security across time zones.
• Publish and present research in Elastic Security Labs and conferences.
