Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Privacy Legal Counsel based in Europe to support privacy, data protection, and responsible data use across the EMEA region. You will provide expert legal advice on complex privacy matters, collaborate with Legal, IT, Security, HR, and R&D, and help implement governance and risk management programs within a global healthcare framework.

The role offers cross-border exposure, strategic initiatives in digital health and AI, and a pathway to impact patient care while working

Qualifications

Law degree and 4+ years of experience as legal counsel or an advanced law degree with 2+ years in data protection/privacy matters.
Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations across EMEA including GDPR and UK GDPR.

Responsibilities

Advise stakeholders on privacy, data protection, and related regulatory requirements across the EMEA region.
Monitor legal developments including GDPR/UK GDPR, ePrivacy, and related frameworks.
