Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior HR Manager to own People Governance & compliance across EMEA Continental Europe & MEA, based in Barcelona or Madrid. You’ll serve as the reference for HRBPs, managers, and regulators on European employment matters, balancing hands-on casework with strategic policy design.

You will lead policy lifecycle, GDPR compliance, and audits, while coordinating with Legal on risk and litigation.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English, Spanish, and French.
• Significant HR compliance or governance experience across European jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of European employment law and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain standardized HR policies compliant with local labour law.
• Manage policy lifecycle, changes, and communication.
• Oversight of GDPR, data privacy and regulatory filings.
• Run HR compliance audits and manage incident response.
• Partner with Legal on litigation and regulatory risk.
• Oversee OHS activities and records management.
• Develop policy training and self-serve knowledge base.
