Giesecke+Devrient is seeking an Embedded Software Tester to design, develop, and execute test strategies for embedded software systems. You will work with developers, system architects, and product owners to validate functionality, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include creating test cases, building automated frameworks, performing hardware-in-the-loop tests, and ensuring traceability from requirements to results.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of embedded software testing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of RTOS, microcontroller architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and test automation tools.
• English fluency required.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the R&D test strategy definition and operation.
• Design and implement comprehensive test cases for embedded software systems.
• Develop automated test frameworks and scripts for unit, integration, and system-level testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing on embedded platforms (e.g., microcontrollers, SoCs).
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Support the Test Manager to ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results.
