GMV in Madrid is seeking a Hardware Engineer to drive HW/SW integration across the full lifecycle of aeronautical defense systems. You will work in multidisciplinary teams, applying structured systems engineering methods to ensure traceability, safety, and technical coherence in a regulated environment.

The role is hybrid and offers growth opportunities on high-stakes projects. You will coordinate across HW, SW, RAMT and Safety teams, define technical requirements and prepare validation plans,

Formación

• Experience in HW/SW development projects following V-model.
• Experience in regulated or certifiable sectors (aerospace, defense, railway, or automotive).
• Experience in requirements management and traceability using systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Enterprise Architect).

Responsabilidades

• Participate in systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle.
• Define and analyze technical requirements and ensure traceability.
• Prepare technical documentation (architectures, specifications, interfaces, and validation plans).
• Coordinate technical activities across HW (electronics, FPGA, mechanics), SW, RAMT, and Safety teams.
• Act as technical interface with customers and internal teams, including production-related areas.

As a Hardware Engineer at GMV, you will contribute to the development of aeronautical critical defense systems, driving HW/SW integration across the full lifecycle. You will work within multidisciplinary teams, applying structured systems engineering methods to ensure traceability, safety, and technical coherence. The role emphasizes collaboration with hardware, software, RAMT, and safety teams in a regulated environment. You will operate in a hybrid setting, with opportunities to impact high-stakes projects and advance your career.
