Job summary

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an experienced electrical systems engineer to join a multidisciplinary, autonomous team responsible for the integration of electrical assemblies on our platforms. You will develop 3D studies and ensure safety and reliability of installations in a DMU environment.

You will master CATIA V5 for equipment installation and harness routing, produce 2D manufacturing drawings, provide production support, and be willing to travel two to three times a year as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering/aeronautics or related discipline.
• Experience creating electrical equipment/harness installations in a 3D environment.
• Mastery of CATIA V5 with electrical modules.

This adventure, based on listening and mutual assistance, will allow you to develop your technical know-how around embedded systems serving the industry. In an innovative digital environment at the cutting edge of technology, you will join a dynamic department in charge of the integration of electrical assemblies on our platforms. Your mission will consist of carrying out 3D studies for the integration of equipment and harnesses in a DMU (Digital Mock Up) environment so that the safety and reliability of our helicopters are ensured.

Your Challenges

• 3D creation of electrical equipment installation with CATIA V5
• 3D creation of electrical harness routing with the CATIA V5 EHI module
• Studies and positioning of harness supports
• 3D creation of interface drawings with the surrounding environment
• Creation of manufacturing drawings for parts and equipment assemblies in 2D (CATIA V5)
• Creation of manufacturing drawings for harnesses with CATIA V5 modules
• Creation of harness installation documentation with 3DVia Impact analysis in the event of modification
• Interface with other departments / professions within the design office
• Production support whether on the assembly line or in production centers
• Guarantor of the QUALITY approach
• Business trips are potentially expected (two to three per year) and, as a result, you must be willing to travel accordingly.

Your Profile

• Holder of a bachelor degree or master in the field of engineering/aeronautics or a related discipline.
• Equipment and harness installation in a 3D environment
• Creation of drawings for production
• Usage of a DMU and 3D environment
• Mastery of CATIA V5 software with specific electrical modules
• Knowledge of the installation regulations for electrical equipment and devices in the aeronautical environment
• You like working in a complex environment and accepting changes in priorities
• Ability to step back and have an overview of a project
• Soft Skills: methodology and rigor, team spirit and dynamism, transparent communication, having a positive attitude even in times of difficulty (being constructive), knowing how to work on a plateau
• Language skills: Negotiation level in Spanish and advanced level in English and / or French.
