Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an Electrical System Engineer to design and validate electrical harnesses and installation processes, coordinating across interfaces from Architecture to In-service support.

The candidate should have Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering background, 3–5 years in design/airframe, CATIA V5 (V6/3DX desirable), and fluency in English and Spanish, with German or French as a plus. Hybrid work and strong career growth opportunities are offered.

• Knowledge of electrical/electromechanical design, including CATIA V5.

Job Description

An Electrical System Engineer has to deal with a lot of interfaces and departments, so good social skills will be appreciated. The main tasks are:

• Processes and tools applicable to electrical design are in a continuing evolution so an open mind person willing to face new challenges is required.


• Electrical installations are usually in the critical path for the aircrafts development and manufacturing due to the complexity of systems integration, so person who apply to this position should be a dynamic person able to adpat the continues changes that appear during the different design and manufanting phases, and even with the aircraft in service

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.


• At least 3-5 years of experience in Engineering, in a Design/Airframe Department.


• Knowledge in Electrical and/ or Electromechanical design, including CATIA. V5 knowledge (desirable CATIA V6/3DX).


• High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode.


• Aircraft Certification Process knowledge will be appreciated


• Advanced level in English and Spanish.


• German or French would be an asset.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Able to propose new ideas.
