Job summary

Lear Corporation is seeking an EHS Specialist for the Martorell JIT facility to coordinate Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and promote a proactive safety culture. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Environmental Health, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ability to influence, train, and advise employees and leaders on safe work practices and accident prevention.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the site's Environmental, Health, and Safety program to ensure regulatory and company compliance.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and workplace risk assessments across the facility.
• Lead job safety analyses and support the implementation of effective risk mitigation measures.
• Deliver EHS training programs, including onboarding, refresher training, and awareness campaigns.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Monitor EHS performance indicators and prepare reports to support compliance and continuous improvement.
• Partner with operational teams to identify and implement workplace safety improvements.
• Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response plans.
• Participate in safety committees and promote employee engagement in EHS initiatives.
• Ensure environmental requirements are understood and integrated into daily operations.
