Lear Corporation in Martorell is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all human resources activities at the JIT plant, aligning people strategies with business objectives. You will partner with the Plant Manager and Corporate HR to manage labor relations, recruitment, payroll, onboarding, and HR compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires 5+ years in HR, fluent English and Spanish, and a proven track record in workforce planning, talent development, and GDPR data

Job Description

• As the HR Manager for the Martorell JIT Plant, you will lead all Human Resources activities supporting the plant's daily operations, ensuring alignment between business objectives and people strategies.

You will partner closely with the Plant Manager and Corporate HR teams to ensure effective labor relations, workforce planning, talent development, and HR compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives across the plant.
• Manage labor relations, including works council interactions, collective agreements, union relationships, and negotiations.
• Oversee payroll, hiring, employee records, time and attendance, and personnel administration processes.
• Ensure compliance with labor legislation, company policies, and HR governance requirements.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
• Develop and manage workforce planning, including headcount forecasting and staffing plans.
• Monitor and report HR metrics, workforce trends, and key performance indicators.
• Manage the annual HR budget and control personnel-related costs.
• Represent the company before labor authorities and collaborate with legal and corporate functions.
• Promote employee engagement, teamwork, communication, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
• Coordinate GDPR-related activities and ensure data privacy compliance at plant level.

Experience Requirements

• +5 years of experience in HR management
• Strong expertise in labor relations, collective bargaining, union negotiations, and employee representative bodies.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English and Spanish with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience leading HR operations, workforce planning, talent development, and organizational change in a plant environment.
