eCarsTrade is seeking a PHP Team Lead to drive the backend of our auction platform. You will lead a skilled development team, shaping architecture, performance, and deployment strategies.

The role is fully remote under an international B2B contract, requiring 6+ years of PHP experience, 2+ years of leadership, and fluent English and Russian. You will collaborate with product, frontend, ML, and other teams to deliver scalable, reliable software.

Formación

• 6+ years of hands-on PHP development.
• 2+ years of team leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Docker for deployment.
• Experience implementing and optimizing background task queues.
• Strong backend scaling and performance knowledge.
• Excellent problem solving and writing clean code.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a team.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• English and Russian language proficiency.
• This is a fully remote, international B2B contract role.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of developers: plan work, manage timelines, ensure code quality.
• Own tech decisions and manage technical debt across services.
• Improve backend performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and ML teams to gather requirements.
• Design, develop and enhance PHP backend systems for the auction platform.
• Use Docker for deployment and orchestration; ensure scalability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and release.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach and deliver value-added features.
