Eurotransportcar Servicios Logísticos del Automóvil is expanding its leading SaaS platform to manage complex automotive logistics processes for major clients. You will join a team migrating the stack from PHP to Laravel and Next.js, while planning AI integrations to optimize operations.

The role focuses on understanding business logic, maintaining code quality, and delivering scalable solutions as the company grows internationally from its Córdoba offices.

Formación

• 2+ years of backend or full-stack development experience (PHP preferred).
• C1 level English, fluent for an international environment.
• Strong PHP backend framework experience and MySQL.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JS, and jQuery/Bootstrap.
• Respect for legacy code and clean coding principles.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and evolve the current platform to support international scaling.

Do you think logistics is just about moving cars? At Eurotransportcar, we’ve created the leading SaaS platform that manages complex processes for industry giants (leasing companies, dealers, manufacturers).

We’re in the midst of international expansion and undertaking a complete refactoring of our platform. We’re looking for someone who enjoys writing high-quality code, but who also wants to understand the ‘why’ behind things by engaging with the business side.

The Technical Challenge

Your mission won’t just be to ‘write code’, but to nurture the product throughout its entire lifecycle. Currently, our platform runs on one of the most widely used PHP frameworks in the community, but we’re building the future with Laravel and Next.js.

• Getting started: Mastering the business logic and our current stack (PHP framework + MySQL).

• Future: Planning and implementing the technical migration of the product to Laravel, Next.js and AI integrations.

What are we looking for in you?

We’re looking for a versatile and proactive candidate who feels at home in high-pressure environments:

• Experience: 2+ years’ experience in backend or full-stack development (PHP is our language).
• Languages: C1 level in English (we don’t require an official certificate, but you must be fluent enough to work in an environment with international expansion).
• Backend stack: Proficiency in a PHP backend framework (or another backend framework) and relational databases (MySQL).
• Backend frontend: Proficiency with the classic stack (HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery/Bootstrap).
• Mindset: A passion for clean code and, above all, respect for legacy code. You understand that the existing code is the engine that drives the company.
• Soft Skills: Curiosity about the business, a proactive approach and resilience in the face of complex challenges.

The following will be viewed very favourably

• You have worked with Laravel and Next.js.
• You are familiar with Docker/Kubernetes.
• You are passionate about applying AI to optimise processes.
• Experience with systems.
