Job summary

Jobbydoo busca un Especialista en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales para un rol 100% remoto, con foco en proyectos en Vigo, Galicia. Desarrollarás y gestionarás políticas de seguridad, realizarás evaluaciones de riesgos y coordinarás con equipos de obra para asegurar cumplimiento normativo.

Se requiere experiencia mínima de 5 años en PRL dentro de construcción, máster en PRL y capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente desde casa, manteniendo una comunicación efectiva con stakeholders a todos

Qualifications

• Grado universitario en Higiene y Seguridad o campo relacionado.
• Máster en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales o titulación equivalente en España.
• Experiencia mínima de 5 años en construcción o sector similar.
• Conocimiento de la legislación de PRL española y su aplicación en obra.
• Experiencia en programas de formación en seguridad y en reportes de seguridad.

Responsibilities

• Desarrollar, implementar y mejorar sistemas y políticas de seguridad para obras a nivel nacional.
• Realizar evaluaciones de riesgos y inspecciones de sitios, indicando controles y mejoras.
• Investigar accidentes e incidentes y aplicar acciones correctivas para evitar recurrencias.
• Ofrecer formación y asesoría a gerentes, supervisores y trabajadores sobre normativa y buenas prácticas.
• Mantener documentación de seguridad y planes de emergencia conforme a la normativa.
• Colaborar con equipos de proyecto para integrar seguridad en planificación y ejecución.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety management systems and policies for construction sites nationwide, with a focus on Vigo .
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and site inspections (remotely where possible, or coordinating on-site personnel) to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide expert advice and training to site managers, supervisors, and workers on all aspects of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and regional health and safety legislation and standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate health and safety documentation, including reports, records, and emergency plans.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into the planning and execution phases of construction projects.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and changes in occupational health and safety legislation and technology.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization, encouraging proactive safety behaviors.

Requirements

• University degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (or equivalent official qualification in Spain).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish health and safety legislation and its application in construction.
• Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in using safety management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
