Discover Nursing Australia is seeking a friendly Disability Support Worker to provide 1:1 community access support for a female participant in Seville. The role focuses on helping her get out, stay connected and enjoy meaningful activities.

Ideal candidates will have Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, NDIS screening, police check, First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s license with a reliable insured vehicle. ABN is preferred.

Formación

• This role requires a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• National Police Check is required.
• First Aid and CPR certification are required.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module must be completed.
• Current driver’s licence and a reliable insured vehicle.
• ABN or willingness to obtain one.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 community access support to the participant.
• Assist with cafés, social outings, shopping and errands.
• Support attendance at appointments and activities.
• Encourage independence and build genuine rapport.
• Assist in planning and accompanying community activities.

Disability Support Worker – Community Access

Discover Nursing Australia is looking for a friendly and reliable female Disability Support Worker to provide 1:1 community access support to a female participant in Seville.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, building genuine connections and supporting a participant to enjoy greater independence.

The Role:

The focus of this role is simple – helping the participant get out, stay connected and enjoy activities that are meaningful to her.

You may support her with:

• Cafés, lunch and social outings.


• Shopping and everyday errands.


• Appointments.


• Walks, parks and local outings.


• Recreational and leisure activities.


• Exploring new interests and activities.


• Building confidence and independence in the community.

About You

The right person will be:
