Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director, Pharmacovigilance Alliance Contracting and Management to lead global PV agreements and alliance governance across multiple countries. You will build and lead a high-performing team, shaping contracting strategy and risk management in collaborations with external partners.

The role requires deep PV regulatory knowledge, senior stakeholder influence, and a track record in negotiating complex contracts.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of related experience, including 8 years in drug safety with Pharmacovigilance operational responsibilities.
Deep knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations, industry standards, and PV alliance governance.
Proven leadership in matrix environments and talent development.
Ability to negotiate Pharmacovigilance Agreements with strong influence and risk management.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, negotiation, and execution of global PVAs.
Oversee PV Alliance Contracting function and develop talent.
Support alliance governance and partnership management for PV collaborations.
Advise senior leaders on PV contractual obligations and governance.
Govern and maintain PV Agreement templates with Legal; ensure regulatory alignment.
Identify and manage PV-related risks with timely escalation.
Partner across IM OCMO and external stakeholders to align PV activities with obligations.
Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation in PV contracting.
